Bob, In all honesty, it is hard for me to answer that question objectively. I am a long time GAAY shareholder. I invested in QBID after the merger came to light. With that said.. I will tell you what I personally think.
I realize, that QBID could very well implement their Business Plan without GAAY. I think you have to look at the political/social/emotional ramifications of this deal. I know emotions should not play a part when investing, however, that is easier said then done. We are all human.
A lot of investors will not touch QBID until it is listed on NASDQ. In order to reach that goal the share price needs to reach $5.00 for 30 days. Without a R/S, the only way this will reach $5, is with the support of the penny investors. I know a high percentage of the penny investor community, had invested in GAAY. It was a very loyal group. Because of poor communication, everyone thought they were investing in what QBID now owns. They are angry..rightly so. A lot of the investors pulled out at a huge loss. They were left with a very bad taste in their mouth. If the merger does not go through, the remaining GAAY investors are going to feel very cheated. I doubt QBID would get future support from them.
What they would get, is the current GAAY shareholders joining the former shareholders in badmouthing QBID, not to speak of the law suits that QBID would have to contend with. Let me go on record, I do not think anything illegal took place. I think it was nothing more then very bad communications. I supported QBID, because I was heavily invested in GAAY. I would have to rethink my investment if the merger did not happen. Yes, that is just pure emotions talking, I am human. I am not the only GAAY shareholder that has invested in QBID. I think QBID needs the loyal GAAY investors.
It is not like GAAY isn't bringing something to the table. The QBID shows are airing on the GAAY radio station. The GAAY radio show and future golf show will add to QBID's bottom line.
I know that was a long answer to a short question! I also realize, that is probably not the answer you wanted to hear. I think the merger will happen. My GAAY and QBID shares are voting yes.
