Hi B, I'm not sure their process of making Gallium Arsenide wafers is "proprietary" as much as it is advanced and technically expensive for a "start-up" to duplicate.

The processes they use for actually making the ICs isn't that remarkable, but again they have depth of experience that creates another boundary for new-comers.

I don't have any idea what patents they hold or that sort of thing. What they do, they do well and the market they serve is also doing very well. The industries they serve are "hungry" for fast, power efficient ICs for a variety of applications.
