There is most DEFINITELY a deadline. They have thirty days from the time they get the "E" in which to complete filings, or they are delisted. Period.

If you want to look at another company that ends in "RGI" that has already been through the experience, check out CRGI. Spent 30 days as CRGIE, now CRGI and not listed.

This is not a happy experience because it is very hard for interested parties to trade delisted stocks, so it kills the volume. Brokers have to wire MMs to even get the bid/ask. Financial sites list the "last trade" price accurately, but the B/A shown are the prices from before delisting, and are way out of date.
