I meant no offense by my question but, just wanted to get the record straight in in my own mind. I'm happy that you feel the way you do. I will, most certainly, read the book by Stephen Ambrose. I have read his "Crazy Horse and Custer" and it is the best book on the subjects I have ever read. Thanks for the references. I also agree that air power, alone will not win wars. That silly debacle in Kosovo can not be counted as a war nor a victory. As a former " ground pounder",I know you gotta have infantry to win. A few tanks, in support, doesn't hurt either. :) ^ ^ ^TD
