A press release with many interesting points.

1.) It looks like the company is warning that the next two quarters will disappoint due to increased spending on their new program.

2.) PRICE WAR. LCAV is going to undercut the competition's price in certain markets in order to achieve greater volume.

3.) Even with lower procedure fees, the company will still make its normal profit. Therefore, the company will grow faster and achieve greater profitability next year.

The market is viewing this quite negatively. All of the major players are suffering losses on top of the incredible losses they have already suffered.
IMHO, the market is lumping all of the providers together even though they each have different business strategies and pricing structures. I remain long on LCAV, LVCI and VISX.
