John -
I think that CPQ professional services is as capable as anyone in the game, and way ahead on MSFT specific stuff. They installed more than 60% of ALL exchange seats, the IBM number is less than 15%.

Having said that, I think they have been somewhat disorganized since the CPQ acquisition. John Rando still thought he was living in the old world and kept his people pretty much segregated from the rest of CPQ. But the services play looks a lot different when the owning company is a products powerhouse. Services represented more than half of DEC's income, it represents about 15% of CPQs income. People are a lot less likely to believe that CPQ services will provide a dispassionate service. Likewise, anyone who thinks GSD is not a key sales arm for IBM just isn't tuned into the right station.

CPQ services is in the process of being realigned and we will not know the results for a while yet.
