Don't think that just because this is a very stupid company losing money hand over fist that it will be reported that way.

Amazon changes business plans like a incorrugible debtor rotates credit cards. This enables them to hide their problems somewhat. They can hide losses/costs in their z-shops initiative, or any of a number of things that they've done. For example, how many companies have they bought who's earnings they can incorporate into their own, with just a few footnotes hidden somewhere to show what they did?
