Of course you can chime in!

IMO, cyclicals like steel and other basic materials stocks are going to be the place to be for much of this year, but I share your concern about rising interest rates. Frankly, I don't see a series of rate hikes in the future. I think Mr. Greenspan feared that wealth effects from recent equity market advances, combined with some wage-push spirals might rekindle inflation. The most recent rate hike seems to have had the desired affect on stock prices. With today's PPI data showing continued calm at the producer level, we appear to be many months away from a troublesome inflation problem, which should keep interest rates from ratcheting much higher.
