LOL. You have a great sense of Humour...

"Humour"? Proggy, are you from Great Britain? No *wonder you were that fond of the bondage metaphor! <g>

Wait. I was serious!

Anyway, you're the one porting stuff to Win32. That must require a sense of humor I couldn't even begin to comprehend!

So, tell your boss you quit and are leaving to develop JavaBob with me. It's your turn to get the domain this time. We'll get angel funding, sketch the whole thing out with the help of one or two of those Sun SYmon engineers via email, send the whole mess up to a dozen Canadians to work on through the winter, beta in late February at the same time we open source (GPL) the whole thing loudly (from a brewpub in Arcata).

Then, we sell the snot out of the dedicated 'Miss Root' input/feedback device (hardware) that might be essentially a mouse o' nine tails, capable of using electrical current of variable non-lethal but corrective and "punishing" pain levels back to the Admin from the 'Miss Root' avatar.

Here's my favorite part (apart from the ale)- we don't need to worry about some wormy M$ lawyer calling us and enforcing their copyright on 'Bob'. M$ wants to associate itself with Bob? No. It's perfect. Plus we spell our 'BOB' backwards. We can use "Bob" but they can't use "Java".

JavaBob is ours. Now let's hear the whip cracking!

We could potentially become a larger supplier of computer hardware product than Microsoft!

Ouch!!
