Did they switch from UNIX to LINUX or from Windows NT to Linux ?

From a desktop point of view, Microsoft is the winner - there's no way to get around that fact.

As for Windows 2000/Linux, I can see Linux taking over a good part of Server OS installations - where its stability is paramount.

But does Linux have al the BUSINESS SOFTWARE applications that are counterparts to Microsoft's Back Office Server Suites ?
