I said "intelligence and guts." The intelligence part is knowing the difference between a likely grand slam and a bad risk. KIDE was a no-brainer, and so is GUMM, IMO. There is absolutely no Las Vegas mentality at work here. I'm sorry you're unable to "get it."

Also, KIDE was an interesting low-float value play even without Pokemon, and GUMM is an interesting low-float, heavily shorted growth play without Zicam. There were virtually no stocks similar to KIDE at that time, and GUMM is similarly "almost unique" right now. Name some of those hundred stocks you think are comparable.

Finally, your "down the tubes" remark is a blatant attempt to scare people, since any intelligent investor or trader uses appropriate stops. The risk/reward here, as I see it, is a few points vs. 50-100 points.
