I think that you are confusing perceived index level manipulations with individual equity level speculations based on earnings outlooks. What has EBAY to do with DJX bouncing off a certain level? Let's keep our discussion focused on index manipulations, shall we?

BTW, are you familiar with Popper's notion of falsifiability ?
