Gold Market Unveiled Surprised this wasn't posted. infoseek.go.com The most amusing part: "Analysts see the UK as being worried about the fate of Commonwealth member country Ghana, whose largest gold producer Ashanti Goldfields Co Ltd (AGC.GH) has been hit hard...." As an aside, the article mentiond that BOE pressure on gold also happened to render a whole bunch of call options out of the money. Still, a 3 million hounce short fall, if there is one, amounts to about a 100 metric tonnes.
