Anyone know if there is a specific directory or "portal" focusing on broadband content sites?

Maybe the @home home page. (I have not seen it).

There really are not enough broadband focused sites to bother cataloging yet. Instead there is a lot of stuff that works ok with narroband and better with broadband. This means nothing that's seriously impressive. Why? Because there are not enough broadband users yet. Not enough broadband advertisements either.

Your average AOLhead is not going to want to pay $40 a month just to get their e-mail faster.

Someone has to break the cycle. Excite seems the logical choice, although so far they are following the same basic model: Do something thats "OK" with narrowband and "nice" with broadband. The online art gallery is a good example.
