Presently I do not own this stock...but with what I have read over the summer and because these stores are all around me and I am often in them...I have been carefully watching the growing numbers that are in Old Navy....and I believe that this is the store that is carrying the others (Gap & Banana Republic). The prices are great for the high school and college kids...that is the most important factor I have observed...the styles are in...and affordable...the only competition is Abercrombie where a $$ does not go a long way.Old Navy's presence has to be a threat to Abercrombie.Would love to see Old Navy spin off on it's own...Banana Republic has a more sophisticated "look"...The Gap seems to be getting neglected from the parent co....probably because it is a "middle child".Have seem numbers that show Old Navy carrying the load...Logos are getting overdone...style not name sells the product unless
one is a total "follower".J Crew competes with Banana R.for business.Does anyone know the breakdown of these stores %$$$...Old Navy,The Gap and Banana Republic? Christmas seems the best time to own this stock...!
