The article you quoted doesn't mention that the unisys
system it touts, is Wintel based: only that it beats
"UNIX/RISC" servers. Now that statement is probably in
itself in need of quite a few qualifications but I noted that more emphasis was on UNIX than on the system itself.
I don't dispute any of the claims although coming on product
release from a PR office I wouldn't put much faith in it.

The aspect of unisys I'd like clarified is, does it only deal with NT systems ie. is it married at the hip to Microsoft. This puts whatever nifty system enhancer they
create at the mercy of MS operating system source licensing.
Unix-based servers are much preferred, by me and I would say most others, for general purposes as well as web-page or mail. NT or windows is good for canned applications but is a poor host of a continuous development environment.
