CRM - In the last few weeks we've seen some interesting developments in the CRM marketspace. A key market Oracle is focused on. PSFT bought CRM vendor Vantive and Nortel acquired Clarify. Yesterday a small canadian CRM vendor, Pivotal, announced some type of deal with MSFT and CSCO that propelled their stock higher. Two weeks ago, Siebel, in their earnings release, said that Oracle was at the table less than 5% of their deals.

My 2 questions are:

1) what does all of the above mean for Oracle(PSFT/Vantive aside)?

2) Who will be the next CRM vendor to be acquired. And by Whom? (Siebel would be too expensive at about $10b.)
