I used to be a great fan of BB, but I am thinking now that he is not much better at picking stocks than anyone else on SI. I have defended him in the past, but I now put that down to over-enthusiasm. It would be nice to think that all one has to do is subscribe to a newsletter that has it all figured out. Unfortunately, that is unrealistic, and my scientific nature is leading me to believe that Mr BB and others have in fact a negative impact on the junior spec market. I am repeating what I have said before, but he and others intensify risk by inflating prices way beyond any fundamentals. One needs to be aware of what he is recommending in order to understand why certain stocks suddenly rise and fall for no apparent reason. I am also disturbed by the fact that he hesitates not in continuing to recommend stocks that have risen significantly and not subsequently reported progress on proving up reserves. In fact, his hot-line updates are quite predictable, and it is possible to play the market by simply anticipating what he is about to reiterate on his next hot-line discourse. I've nothing against him personally, and believe that he is better than most, but I will not base my choices on his recommendations. Something that no doubt he would encourage. After all, we live by our own judgements, not others, and we should not blame Mr B for our own mistakes. Regards, Robert
