Todd, I believe that the IRS gets information on payments/transfers into a Roth and distributions/transfers sent out from a Roth.

I believe that buying and selling of securities within a Roth would not be reported to the IRS. Such reporting is usually just done for individuals, and partnerships, but not for corporations and exempt organizations.
