My group does a lot of processor specific optimizations for some future SW API's (e.g. SSE optimizations for D3D). So we need to use even beta versions of Win2000 for testing.

My current experience with Win2000 is positive. I think the performance needs a bit of a boost, but I like it better than NT4. Currently NT4 is more robust and is used for "critical" work... but there are times we need to use beta OS's when preparing SW for their release.
