Mani,

What should we expect you to say since SUNW and AMD are two of your favorite stocks. I sense that Linux might make you feel all warm and fuzzy as well. <g>

The DRAM problem is short term - unless earthquakes become quarterly events and prices a few months out will be going back down. Then again, by then we should be fully Rambus oriented and into the next chipset from Intel. Dell has certainly telegraphed the move to this architecture. In the Gorilla Game world, AMD is not even a Chimp. It is a monkey. I think it is less of a problem for Intel than you suggest. Intel is in full transition at the moment and it is no longer possible to view it with a look in the past. Let's keep stock prices in historical perspective here when speaking of MSFT, INTC and DELL. The last five years have rewarded investors with handsome returns. If you really believe that the bell curve of the Technology Adoption Life Cycle is on the way down for these three, what are you suggesting will replace them?

I firmly believe that SUNW's share price will return to its historic mean in the future once the current enthusiasm thins.
