i agree totally with the last sentence.. he has given rose even more support from the fan.. I WILL SAY THIS IN CAPITAL LETTERS.. I AM SICK AND TIRED OF THE LIKES OF BUD SELIG TELLING ME WHAT IS BEST FOR BASEBALL..BASEBALL IS NOTHING WITHOUT THE FANS,AND THE FANS WANT PETE ROSE...THE FANS DO NOT STICK TOGETHER AND ARE PHONY AND BANDWAGON JUMPERS...A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO I RIPPED UP MY OPENING DAY TICKETS AFTER THE STRIKE AND FOLLOWED THROUGH WITH WAS SUPPOSE TO BE A BOYCOTT AND PERSONALLY MaILED THEM TO WAYNE HYPINGA...AS FANS IF WE ARE REALLY A GROUP BECAUSE BASEBALL DOES NOT THINK SO,FOR THAT MATTER NOBODY IN THE ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS THINK SO,WE SHOULD FORM A BOYCOTT OF OPENING DAY NEXT YEAR AND CALL IT PETE ROSE DAY.... think i will go to the horse track at calder that day and see if pete is there...lol
