yes, it is obvious that based on the current price of HLIT and the 1:0.54 ratio of the stock swap, the semi ipo needs only to open at $7.50 for us to break even. i was trying to get some interests in projecting how high a valuation the semi division could possibly obtain on first opening day in order to determine whether to hold the stock for the ipo and beyond. i see that some posters are saying $70-80 valuation for the stock between now and the close of the deal. it's comforting to know, but i still need facts. i will try to find similar semi company's valuations to do a comp. if anyone comes up with the comp it will be appreciated greatly.
