I see no connection to your unlikely scenario and an advertising campaign. In addition, the company has said research will be done by the end of October. They did not conduct it themselves, so why can't you give them that time - you with no position?
Give them a few weeks to decide where to present it or send it and coordinate it with their campaign. Now that is gutsy - having an independent study come out - the results of which you do not know or have control over - and coordinating your ad campaign around it.

I think a more likely scenario is that you forget to take your thorazine and the little spiders you see crawling on your arm tell you to write absurd and irrelevant analogies with many misspelled words.
