OT - While I hesitate to add to the sports talk here, I do want to say something about last night's game. I'm not a big sports fan but I did tune in to several of the Mets-Braves games and the Braves-Yankees series, including all of last night's game. And I must say that as a Northerner I was rooting for both NY teams. Even though the Yankee hit to deep short that kicked off the fielders glove might have been a hit even if it was fielded cleanly - if I were scoring, it would have been called an error. Even more so, the hit off the first baseman's glove. I thought the Atlanta pitcher pitched an excellent game, and he lost because his team mates did not provide series-caliber support in the field or at the plate. If anyone had reason to be bitter he did, but when interviewed after the game he was gracious and humble, offering praise to the victors and congradulations to Atlanta's players for their fine season. If ever there was a display of sportsmanlike conduct this was it. A credit to Atlanta and to the game. JMHO StockHawk
