I've read every post you guys have put up over the last three days. This is a pretty complicated deal realtive to the typical "X agrees to buy Y for Z dollars." type of deal on the Street.

If you don't see this, it is because you know the company so well already.

I think that it the terms are being misperceived/misunderstood. The deal, even at $1.7 billion is immediately accretive to HLIT. No one can genuinely argue they overpaid. Given the hit HLIT is taking, the options on CUBE are really, really cheap. (But not HLIT's -- whoa!)

Everybody calm down and give the market more than half an hour to get things straight. (Anybody see the market reaction to WCOM buying FON? Took it to $66. Now at 79 3/4 rtq.)
