Company Also Forms Internet Audio Group to Meet Growing Demand for
Portable, Internet-Compatible Music and Voice Products
(SAN DIEGO, CA, October 28, 1999) - e.Digital Corporation (OTC BB: EDIG),
announced today that it has retained The MWW Group, a leading, national,
full-service communications agency, for the launch of an investor and
consumer media relations program.

at a time in which we have begun to position the Company as a leader in the
portable, digital revolution", commented Fred Falk, President and CEO of

The Company also announced the formation of its Internet Audio Group to
meet increasing demand for advanced digital recording designs based on
e.Digital's MicroOS™ flash file management system. Recent hires by the
Company to staff this group include: Atul Anandpura as Vice President of
Research & Development, W. Stephen Ferguson as Director of Business
Development, and William F. Lane as Design Engineer.
Mr. Falk continued, "In order to best implement our goals in the rapidly
emerging Internet audio industry, we felt it was necessary to build a team
of specialists that have the experience and know-how to quickly take us to
the next level. Atul, Steve and Bill are completely dedicated to growing
this important segment of e.Digital's business. We are extremely excited to

Mr. Anandpura most recently served as Managing Director for Maycom Europe
Ltd. in Surrey, U.K. Mr. Anandpura was the lead engineer in the development
of a branded MP3 Internet music player. He has also held positions as
Electronic Engineer, Senior Design Engineer and Project Manager of Maxon
Systems, Inc., in Surrey. While with Maxon he managed projects for British
Telecom UK, Matra Communication France, and DFG Germany. He also worked in
various engineering capacities at Gujarat Transceivers Ltd. and Digital
Innovations, Ltd., both in India. Mr. Anandpura holds a Bachelor of
Engineering Electronics degree from M.S. University in Baroda, India.
Mr. Ferguson most recently served as Chief Operating Officer and Vice
President of Business Development for Enterprise Design Group. He holds a
Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Iowa and is currently
working toward a Masters Degree at San Diego State University.
Mr. Lane most recently held the position of Design Engineer at L3
Communications Telemetry and Instrumentation in San Diego, California.
Prior to that, Mr. Lane held similar positions with Scientific
Atlanta/Signal Processing Systems and Loral Instrumentation, both in San
Diego. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
from Washington State University.
