Justa,

News from amazon.com today. Looks like they did exactly what they were expected to do this quarter. They increased their revenues by incredible proportions and did the same with their losses. Bigger losses this quarter than ever before - right in line with analyst expectations. These huge losses are, of course, very bullish signals for the future of the company. Amazingly enough, Bezos (CEO) does expect the book sales portion of amazon.com (now less than 1/2 the revenue) to be profitable in the next quarter. Fortunately, he is figuring out ways to invest all of those profits in other internet ventures that should not show profits for another several years at best. This should protect the need of showing a P/E of N/A for the forseeable future for stockholders.
