Todd, Knowing what's coming in terms of video and sound, I'd want at least 20 GB today which is still a 2 or three platter drive. Every computer I've owned has run out of drive space toward the end of its life. Right now my 1.6 GB can't even hold many software programs, and my 18 month old 8 GB Pentium II is nearly full. As video, music and cable modems proliferate, I think a number of consumers interested in video will be able to utilize the maximum capacities available very quickly. -Z
