We must saty with the subject being spoken of.
this rock in V.18 was the fact that Jesus is the Christ!!And on this rock I will build my church! Said Christ.
That is the Key being spoken of! That Jesus is the Christ!!
And who ever has that key has the truth! And on that truth, the church of Christ will stand!!!
