Yes, indeed, currently Old Navy and Banana Republic are carrying the load. I think BR represents %17 of total sales (I'm going on memory here). ON will soon overtake Gap for the lead in total sales.

I went to the new "Flagship" ON here in SF the day it opened. It's a monstrous four level building with a dj booth - kicking out your standard dance fare- where you can burn your own dance cd's and check out the web site (which will soon be selling clothes), a restaurant, Torpedo Joe's, which has sandwiches, smoothies, coffe, etc, a lineup of about twenty pairs of kicking legs in ON jeans hanging from the high ceilings, and a bunch of other stuff.

It was mobbed. All four floors. But the thing that amazed me was that everyone was there: black, white, hispanic, asian, babies, kids, teens, moms and grandmoms. Everybody loves Old Navy.
