DougCompanies are building high speed networks, marketing the service, and designing new applications to take advantage of faster speeds. But there is a question if all this investment will pay off. To make money you have to offer more then one service( internet access,voice, TV etc.) over the same platform. NN 3dSL will be huge, not b/c is coming form NN , but b/c allow to offer several services over existing infrastructure. Kingsom Comm. in UK has already commited 158 millions pounnds for upgrade. Why NN is so popular among big telcos? Because they are conservative, and NN gears allow them to make money. NN current 36170 is not the fastest, but is handling many aplication on the same platform.
