National City Corporation Selects InteliData Interpose(TM) System For Internet Banking and Bill Payment; Unique System Combines Quick Time-to-Market Outsourcing Solution With In-House Bank Controlled Software

RESTON, Va., Oct. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- InteliData Technologies Corp. (Nasdaq: INTD - news), a leader in Internet banking and bill payment technology, today announced that National City Corporation (NYSE: NCC - news) has selected InteliData as its vendor for a state-of-the-art internet banking and bill payment system. National City will install InteliData's Interpose(TM) software in combination with using the Company's Interpose(TM) Outsourcing Services.

National City Corporation, the twelfth largest bank in the U.S., is an $85 billion diversified financial services company with headquarters in Cleveland. InteliData is delivering to National City InterposeConnect, a joint venture end-to-end Internet banking solution that combines Home Financial Network's Total Web Banking customer interface software with InteliData's Interpose(TM) Transaction Engine and Interpose(TM) Bill Payment Warehouse products for core transaction processing and to capture consumer bill payment information.

In addition to implementing InteliData's mainframe-based in-house transaction processing and bill payment software, the Company is also managing Web hosting, network management and server security for National City in an outsourcing arrangement.

National City customers will be able to access account information, transfer funds and pay bills electronically using standard HTML browsers at www.national-city.com. Customers will also be able to access bank account information and pay bills via popular personal financial management software such as Intuit's Quicken®.
