Jan, thanks for the link. Just what I was looking for. I actually found it last night following a link in one of your posts from last Oct.

The MEM scanning technology sounds simply amazing but I do have one concern. A computer monitor scans in a similiar manner except the phosphor coating glows for a fraction of a second after the electron beam moves on to other areas of the image. The phosphor glow is what allows a refresh as slow as 60Hz without flicker or eye fatigue. How does a laser MEM's display compensate for lack of phosphor glow without causing eye fatigue?
