Jim,
cvol and cvol[0] should be the same, they are today's call volume. cvol[1] is yesterdays. If you are getting 1 and 0 the same, there is a problem. I use BMI for my data feed through the Universal Market Data Server. I found that I have to run Morning-Reset to clear yesterday's option volume. (apparently a problem in the way BMI transmits option data). To do this automatically:

Server | Server Setup | Daily Processing | AutoStart Morning Reset
check reset and I have mine at 9:00AM.

Hopefully, this will solve the problem.
