How does all this affect the stock? It creates uncertainty and works against investor confidence.

I believe the Lexar litigation has a neutral effect on stock price since so few people actually understand it and because the financial impact appears only to be potentially positive for SanDisk since it is not currently collecting royalties at the card assembly level anyway.

The only acknowledgement of SanDisk IP in this instance is the co-licensing arrangement with SSTI.

I still believe that SanDisk wished to settle this matter in a direct, business-like manner. Instead, Lexar wishes to be wrestled to the mat and to be put into a submission hold.

All IMHO.
