I think short covering was part of the reason we're up so much (the slow downward drift of the last week or so felt a bit like short pressure). We may have hit some stops at around 10 which gave us that pop to 10 3/4. The short covering, if there was any, is probably an attempt to limit losses. I got in at 8 & change & was looking for at least 11 & change, idealy in the 12's. This thing has a tendency to come down after pops & that plus bad earnings could send us back to the 8's. Or up another $2 if it's good. I need to think on this one a little more, especially b/c I don't like holding through a number.
