Mitchell, It is pretty clear in that press release that they are talking about JAVA OS, the operating system. So, there are now three announced operating systems that will be available for NC's.

I think NCI/Oracle will let the marketplace (manufacturers and consumers) decide who wins the OS battle. NCI is also supporting several chip architectures (StrongARM, Intel, ARM, others) and will again be agnostic and let the marketplace decide.

The NC market will probably grow to be huge, but which component suppliers will be the winners is still very much an open question. I would again stress, as Allen Benn has, that the NC market is but one of many markets that WIND can go after. At this point there are other opportunities that are larger and more near term. This is good and bad. WIND, like any other company, has limited engineering resources and must decide where to focus. The NC market is moving quickly, and has some serious competitors. It is not a "slam dunk" easy design win for WIND at this point. Time will tell.
