Smitty,

Analysts predict
that the market for optical transport will be at least $17 billion by 2002. This doesn't include optical internetworking. Very conservative.

The data I have suggests otherwise... which I posted. What are your sources. How much of this market is avaiable to SCMR.

So
no doubt a $16B market cap is a little shy ahead of itself. The service provider demand for products like SCMRs is unsatiable.

It is? The market is still developing. I agree that the prospects are unbelievable but current demand can not be categorized as "unsatiable".

but while you were downplaying the stock at $180 you could have already profited a short term gain of
$20/share.

Believe me I did fine this past few days with INAP and FDRY. Both overvalued too but at least FDRY is making a profit and has numerous customers (and is half the market value of SCMR)..and INAP will be $200 in the next 6 months. SCMR is not the only play..... It may continue to go up...due to investor enthusiasm...don't mistake this for performance. Performance can hold..investor enthusiasm will wane unless performance is demonstrated... I'm not willing to accept that risk - especially when as the stock goes up - the risk only increases. But I wish the investors here only the best of luck.
