Got to agree. This stinks. Quality companies make their announcements: a) To the general public b) When the market is closed c) In such a way that there is time for the information to be disseminated before the market re-opens. Some companies will also schedule analyst meetings or discussions when special announcments are made, but usually won't do so until after the announcements. HWP has now distinguished itself significantly from CPQ, IBM, SUNW and others in the field. (I won't even bother to compare with real quality outfits like INTC, CSCO and MSFT). Unfortunately, it is distinguished by being the one which can least be trusted by investors. Sad but true. I'm embarrassed to be working here today.
