richard: From what I saw from Tech Data's and Ingram's ording patterns which have not been delivered yet almost 90% of 820 mobos will be Cape Cod (CC820) that support only SDRAM. 10 % will be Vancouver (VC820) that support RDRAM. The the 840 chipset mobo Outrigger (OR840) represents about 10% the volume of of 820 chipset products. Don't get carried away yet.
