What percentage of earnings of other, more mainstream companies like INTC, come from investments?

Actually, INTC has a very large amount of cash, while the percentage of interest vrs. earnings is no where near that of GNET's it does account for several cents per quarter.

GNET's cash position is a major asset when their stock price is as depressed as it is. The stock price makes it much more economical for them to pay cash for web properties - with Paul Allen's help GNET has that option, whereas competitors do not have the option of paying cash for sites.

Speaking of PA, when is Charter IPOing? Is it still slated for Nov. 1? Does this board still think that a charter IPO will have an effect on GNET share pricing and why?

proud to still be #10,

P.S. GRUB!!
