Steve;
I read all the posts on GSNX, and am aware of this post. The first Mattson 300mm strip tool was the one sent to Siemens, I think. That has been some time ago, and as it was a very early tool, it may have been replaced. I have not heard that, though, other than that post. I have heard several times that the first GSNX 300mm strip tool was "withdrawn" and they had to go back to the drawing board. I expect that if the 300mm tool was moved out, it was replace by a newer one, but I have no confirming info on either point. I can say that everything I hear is that Mattson now has the #1 slot, has had the technical lead for some time, is making that lead much wider as we speak. Also, the 300mm CVD effort at Siemens continues to go well. In conclusion, I have no concerns whatsoever on the Mattson Strip programs going forward other than the slow movement inot Intel. I do understand that Fusion (Eaton) has a qualified 300mm strip at INTC and that MTSN has no systems there yet. As I maintained for some time now, I expect Mattson will not get into INTC until the next generation of Low K comes around late next year.
