Wally - I couldn't agree with you more. This "short play scam" thing is ridiculous. Why do people who invest in junior resource stocks always try to blame the short sellers when their stocks go down? These people should take the time to find out who the big short players are and how and why they operate in the manner that they do. These guys don't go around trying to destroy good stocks (or bad ones for that matter). They are genuinely looking for stocks that they feel are overpriced and are going to decline in price. Shorting juniors is a very risky game and should only be done by the most savvy players. This is a business where stocks double and triple in a day all the time. Hedging often accounts for the majority of a given stocks short position. If there are options being held at strike prices that are considerably lower than the present stock price the holders of these options will short the stock to effectively lock in their price. Shorting is really no different than going long in a stock. All the buying in the world can't stop a dog from dropping in price and all the selling can't stop an eagle from rising. Anyway I'm rambling severely. I just wanted to support your position.
P.S. Alan - Chill out man!!!
