Darleen,

couple of interesting canadian observations while on the subject of canuks:
1. royal bank precious metals fund managed by John Embry has begun to outperform other canadian pm funds, not to mention the xau.
2. quebec, the economic basket case of north america, is actually beginning to economically hum for the first time in almost, well i can't remember despite the unbelievable gov't mismanagement over the years. The separation issue is just about dead in the water thanks to the internet etc...for most in the job market without english, it is like hitting a brick wall. Many applicants are hit with no french needed or required.
3. i expect housing prices to move up to toronto levels once people realize the separation issue is dead which is about a double from present levels. Give that call about five years.
4. if quebec is beginning to move, one has to believe there is a little inflation around.
5. canuck buck, be long=pog
6. shivered badly today when i read that paul martin{cdn finance minister} made the statement that we will never again see the bad economic times of the early nineties. oh my God on that statement. This one really scares me.
