*** OT *** Teflon, I am amazed that Q hasn't split before now, but as you know, there aren't enough shares authorized at the moment for a 2:1. Dr. J announced that "more shares will be made available at the Annual meeting", but that isn't until 2/29/00, and the stock will be in the 300 range by then (I hope <g>).

Qualcomm management seems to be making a concerted effort to keep momentum from distorting their stock's valuation. But the small float causes Q to be extremely volatile.

I think there are compelling reasons for a split, but it wouldn't surprise me if it didn't happen until February. Otoh I wouldn't be surprised if a 3:1 was announced tomorrow pending shareholder approval.
