Q: Have you calculated how much you would have made with JDSU if you had not bought and sold? Would your commissions bought another share or two? Did you find yourself leaving money on the table, selling, then buying back in slightly higher?

IMO, what you're doing there is timing the market...and that doesn't work consistently unless your coins have two heads. We should be buying issues because of 1) solid present fundamentals, 2) rising prospects. If those conditions remain present, then you should be buying more.

As to GMST, I feel conditions 1 and 2 exist. It is now 100% of my Roth, and unless things change by January for the worse (highly doubtful), I will buy more regardless of the price. I'm thinking about 10 years hence, not tomorrow.
