jmac: >>But, you're response to me is unbelievable. you hit a nerve.<<
From all the posts I have read I cannot come to the conclusion that "they messed up." All fingers point to Intel and not Rambus. Resolve yourself to the fact that Intel is not going to come out and say, "yes, we're the ones at fault in this terrible screw up. We're the ones that dropped the ball. We're the ones that didn't check our product for bugs. We're the ones that are responsible for the vast amount of money lost by stockholders of both Rambus and Intel, etc., etc., etc." They won't do this because the general public and investors all think Rambus is at fault because of how the media reported the stop of the launch. Everyone is pointing their finger at Rambus as being the one at fault. If you only had the published post to rely on, you would think the same thing.
>>an explanation is warranted.<< Yes, but I doubt if we will ever get it. It's easier for Intel to let everyone continue to point the finger at Rambus. When Camino and Rdram in other products roll, then all will be forgotten. >>Now, when investors have to invest.<< Believe me, they will continue to invest with or without any further explanation. such is the nature of the beast.
>>If you like to blindly invest..<< That's only your opinion. I can see everything that I need to make a reasonably sound investment in Rambus.
>>you hit a nerve.<< Sorry about that.
>>it's ok to mess up, you're not accountable, we'll fix it so leave us alone? heck of an approach.<< They take this approach because they can!
