Bill, I agree. The Athlon is a piece of work iNTEL could not believe until they got their hands on some. I've always said I'd like to see iNTEL's internal reports on the Athlons they acquired. Can you imagine Barrett at a staff meeting pitching an Athlon across the table to a middle manager and asking "how can Jerry Sander's and AMD come up with this and we can't get a chipset out the door?" If iNTEL could find anything wrong with the Athlons they would have exploited it in the media by now. There are now three US sources for the ASUS mobo on Pricewatch. iNTEL will probably cut off the Coppermines they couldn't send those distributors anyway.
