Intel had a similar year to Dell, about a year ago. It takes a while to revalue a company that has grown so big that normal great growth shows up as a smaller percentage growth. The stock sits there getting a lower P/E which is based more on percentage than actual growth. If it sits there enough the company kind of gets forgotten so it doesn't move in line with it's actual expectations. It will be rediscovered, I would guess following the same Intel like model, with any one of many news events, then it will be perceived as undervalued, a surge, followed by growing by it's natural growth rate. It seems quite undervalued now. The DRAM price hike warning may delay this recovery another quarter, it all depends on announced earnings and perceived future earnings, but I feel convinced that it is not more than a quarter away.
